The ledger records a single intention offered without spectacle: a name, a date, and silence where explanation would cheapen the act. What remains is procedure stripped of comfort — the kind of form you complete when you already understand the answer will not arrive by courier.

The wax seal is cracked but intact. Heat lifted one edge; dust entered the seam like a verdict deferred.

The film behaves like a room that keeps remembering a crime before anyone commits it. Its machines do not explain themselves. They hum, wait, and make every human figure look temporary.

What sells the whole thing is the refusal to soften the frame. The camera watches corridors, consoles, and faces with the same exhausted patience, until the plot starts to feel less like a story than an audit of damage already entered into the system.

There is a cold intelligence to the way this thing withholds satisfaction. Every scene seems to arrive after the useful information has already been removed, leaving people to handle only procedure, residue, and the faint embarrassment of needing comfort.

I respect the rigor more than I enjoyed sitting inside it. The ending is beautifully calibrated and almost entirely hostile to relief, which is probably the point and absolutely the reason I will not be eager to return.

This is mostly nonsense, but it is nonsense with a pulse. The miniature work is gorgeous, the performances are pitched somewhere between labor dispute and possession, and the dialogue sounds like it was translated through a damaged weather station.

By any sober accounting it leaks pressure in every compartment. Still, I admire how completely it commits to its own doomed ceremony, and there are images here that lesser, cleaner movies would be lucky to steal.

The movie gives the test entry enough metadata to verify sorting, summary display, and stable fragment links. Once real reviews are ready, this file can be replaced with authored review content that follows the same frontmatter shape.

The interlinear margin is narrow. Someone wrote a gloss in pencil and then erased it until the paper shone. The erased word still weights the line — a palimpsest treated as evidence, not ornament.

Footnotes crowd the binding like rivets. Each one claims precedence; none yield.

The office is read quietly, without performance. Syllables are debts. You pronounce them because someone before you did, not because the room rewards you for precision.

Rain ticks against a high window. The rhythm is wrong for prayer and right for waiting.
